A Tribute to Lovers Separated by World War 2

Reviews

Vintage-voiced Jeudi sounds at home in all of these decades but certainly evokes the old school "thrush" who sang with the band...There's a smile in the lady's voice and her contented perspective seems to be influenced by the wearing of rose-colored glasses. The album's subtitle is very apt—the approaches are both Swingin' and Sentimental, sometimes a mix of the two. This Winter festival has a breezy feel, but no worrisome wind/chill factor.”

“'The CD is called Winter Was Warm: Swingin' & Sentimental Songs of the Season, certainly a must have for your collection, I would say to our listeners.

You've put together something very unique; I don't know if anything like this has ever been put together in a compilation... Those wonderful forgotten songs, those classic treasures, those lost treasures from so many years ago. Great holiday songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s. It's a wonderful CD!"
